About the Pond
Longevity Pond is a City of Brampton stormwater management pond near the southern edge of Estates of Credit Ridge. The City built it in 2024, making it the newest named water feature in the neighbourhood, and it covers just under 5 hectares.
It’s an engineered water management facility, built to capture and slowly release rainwater and runoff from the surrounding streets as that part of the neighbourhood continued to develop. It is not designed or maintained for swimming or skating.
Being one of the most recently constructed ponds, Longevity Pond doesn’t yet have the same established tree cover as the older ponds further north in Estates of Credit Ridge, though it serves the same stormwater management function.
