About the Pond
Abraham Block Pond is a City of Brampton stormwater management pond on Elbern Markell Drive in Estates of Credit Ridge. The City built it in 2011, and at under 1 hectare it is one of the smallest named water features in the neighbourhood.
It’s an engineered facility, built to capture and slowly release rainwater and runoff from the surrounding streets. It is not designed or maintained for swimming or skating.
Abraham Block Pond is part of a cluster of several named ponds along and near Elbern Markell Drive, alongside David Heggie Pond and Maxwell & Lois Rice Park, in the middle section of Estates of Credit Ridge.
