Haywood Pond is a City of Brampton stormwater management pond on Haywood Drive in Estates of Credit Ridge, across from St. Jacinta Marto Catholic Elementary School. The City built it in 2011, and it covers just under 3 hectares.

It’s an engineered water management facility, built to capture and slowly release rainwater and runoff from the surrounding streets rather than a recreational feature. It is not designed or maintained for swimming or skating.

According to Harpreet Sandhu, Real Estate Broker with Right At Home Realty, no homes back directly onto Haywood Pond, though a few homes on Hosta Street back toward it.

Being across from St. Jacinta Marto Catholic Elementary School, Haywood Pond is a familiar landmark for families on the school run in this part of Estates of Credit Ridge.
