Joe Ashton Pond South is a City of Brampton stormwater management pond near Pathway Drive in Estates of Credit Ridge. The City built it in 2012, and it covers just under 2.5 hectares.

It’s an engineered water management facility, built to capture and slowly release rainwater and runoff from the surrounding streets. It is not designed or maintained for swimming or skating.

Pathway Drive is one of the Estates of Credit Ridge streets where, according to Harpreet Sandhu, Real Estate Broker with Right At Home Realty, homes back onto a green area; Joe Ashton Pond South and the adjoining Joe Ashton Valley South make up part of that green area.
