Wolf Country Pond

A City of Brampton stormwater management pond at the corner of Elbern Markell Drive and Williams Parkway, part of the Wolf Country Valley green space in Estates of Credit Ridge.

About the Pond

Wolf Country Pond is a City of Brampton stormwater management pond at the corner of Elbern Markell Drive and Williams Parkway in Estates of Credit Ridge, across from Lorenville Public School. The City built it in 2011; it covers about 2.7 hectares and sits alongside the larger Wolf Country Valley green space.

The pond is an engineered water management facility, built to capture and slowly release stormwater runoff from the surrounding streets. It is not designed or maintained for swimming or skating.

According to Harpreet Sandhu, Real Estate Broker with Right At Home Realty, a few homes on Elbern Markell Drive back onto Wolf Country Valley and the pond, giving those lots direct access to the green area and a water view.

Wolf Country Pond and Wolf Country Valley together form one of the larger connected green spaces in Estates of Credit Ridge, with a gravel nature trail running through the valley from the Elbern Markell Drive side toward a wetland further south.
