Emerick Pond

A City of Brampton stormwater management pond near Lorenville Drive and Creditview Road in Estates of Credit Ridge.

About the Pond

Emerick Pond is a City of Brampton stormwater management pond near Lorenville Drive and Creditview Road in Estates of Credit Ridge. The City built it in 2013, making it one of the newer ponds in the neighbourhood’s original build-out, and it covers just under 2.9 hectares.

It’s an engineered water management facility, built to capture rainwater and runoff from the surrounding streets and release it slowly rather than a recreational feature. It is not designed or maintained for swimming or skating.

According to Harpreet Sandhu, Real Estate Broker with Right At Home Realty, Lost Canyon Way runs along Emerick Pond, connecting that street directly to the water feature.

Emerick Pond sits a short distance from Lorenville Park and Lorenville Public School, in the cluster of streets around Lorenville Drive and Creditview Road.
