Is Peel Memorial getting an emergency department?
That is the plan. William Osler Health System says the Peel Memorial expansion will add a multi-storey patient tower with inpatient beds and a 24/7 emergency department. Early work began in spring 2025, and a development partner was signed in October 2025. Osler has not announced an opening date and says key dates may change.
