Direct answer

As Harpreet puts it: “Estates of Credit Ridge is a mature, luxury executive neighbourhood with amenities close by, retail, shopping and leisure, that’s also close to the highways: the 410, 407 and 401 are easily accessible, and the new Highway 413 will be very close as well.” For driving, residents reach Highway 410 via Bovaird Drive or Sandalwood Parkway, and Highway 407 via Mississauga Road. The Mount Pleasant GO station (Kitchener line), at 1600 Bovaird Drive West, is a short drive from most streets and offers a direct, no-transfer train to Union Station. Brampton Transit bus routes also serve the area as a secondary option.

Driving: highways and arterial roads

The neighbourhood is framed by main roads: Mississauga Road along its western edge, Williams Parkway to the north, Queen Street West to the south, and Creditview Road along its eastern side. From there, Bovaird Drive and Sandalwood Parkway run east toward Highway 410.

  • Highway 410: reached via Bovaird Drive or Sandalwood Parkway, both of which cross the 410 a short drive from the neighbourhood. It’s the primary connector north toward Brampton and Caledon, and south toward Highway 401.
  • Highway 401: accessible via the 410 connection south; the main east-west corridor through the GTA.
  • Highway 407 ETR: has its own direct interchange at Mississauga Road, just south of the neighbourhood, crossing the Credit River at that point, giving residents a direct route onto the 407 without needing to go via the 410/401 first. From there, the 407 reaches toward Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, and the 400-series highways to the east.
  • Highway 413: the Province’s planned highway runs north to south through Heritage Heights, west of Mississauga Road, with interchanges planned at Bovaird Drive and Mayfield Road. Early works on a Bovaird Drive underpass were expected to begin in spring 2026, and no opening date has been announced. See Highway 413 and Estates of Credit Ridge.

GO Transit: Mount Pleasant station

The single most important piece of transit infrastructure for residents is the Mount Pleasant GO station (1600 Bovaird Drive West, Brampton), on the Kitchener GO line.

  • Sits on Bovaird Drive West, north of the neighbourhood: about 10 to 15 minutes by car from most streets.
  • Kitchener line trains run direct to Union Station, with no transfers. Check GO Transit’s current schedule for trip times.
  • Free customer parking: GO Transit lists 1,486 spaces in the main lot, plus reserved and carpool parking.
  • Bike racks at the station, and Brampton Transit connections for residents without a car.

How Harpreet gets to Mount Pleasant GO

The interior route avoids most of the main roads: Elbern Markell Drive to James Potter Road, then through Mount Pleasant to the station, about 10 to 15 minutes. Harpreet has commuted downtown from Mount Pleasant GO many times, and has also cycled to the station.

The main roads work too. The Mississauga Road and Bovaird Drive intersection went through a lot of construction, but with the Mississauga Road improvements northbound now finished, Harpreet says that stretch is back to normal traffic. Separate Highway 413 early works are planned along Bovaird Drive west of Mississauga Road.

I’ve commuted downtown from Mount Pleasant GO many times. Since the station expansion I have always found parking, sometimes with a longer walk to the platform or the bus. I’ve also biked there; it’s bike-accessible.

What is changing on the Kitchener line?

Metrolinx plans two-way, all-day 30-minute service to Mount Pleasant, seven days a week, as part of its Kitchener line expansion. In October 2025 it announced an agreement in principle to acquire the CN-operated track between Bramalea and Georgetown GO stations. It describes the work as a multi-year undertaking and has not published a completion date.

For households with one or more members commuting to downtown Toronto, this is often the deciding commute factor when comparing Estates of Credit Ridge against closer-in neighbourhoods in Mississauga or Toronto that carry a significant price premium for similar or sometimes worse GO access.

Why this matters for value

Compared with Mississauga or Toronto neighbourhoods with roughly equivalent GO rail access, buyers here are generally trading a longer commute for meaningfully more space for the money.

Compared with similar homes closer in, you are trading some commute time for more house, more lot and more green space for the money. For most of my clients who drive, that trade is worth it.

Is Meadowvale GO an option from Estates of Credit Ridge?

Yes, and it is often overlooked. Meadowvale GO, at 6845 Millcreek Drive in Mississauga, is a station on the Milton line, giving residents a second GO option besides Mount Pleasant. From most of the neighbourhood it is a 15 to 20 minute drive, depending on the time of day. It has free parking. Milton line trains run on weekdays at rush hour: toward Union Station in the morning and back in the afternoon.

Because trains run only at weekday rush hours, check GO Transit’s schedule before you rely on it; GO buses serve the station at other times. GO Transit lists two free lots at Meadowvale, with about 1,650 spaces between them, plus reserved and carpool parking.

People often miss that Meadowvale GO, on the Milton line, is also very accessible from Estates of Credit Ridge. It’s a second GO option besides Mount Pleasant.

Brampton Transit (local bus)

Brampton Transit bus routes serve the Credit Ridge and Mount Pleasant area, with connections toward Brampton GO station, Bramalea City Centre, and the broader city bus network. Queen Street West, which runs along part of the neighbourhood’s boundary, is the subject of Brampton’s own Queen Street Bus Rapid Transit project (an active Brampton Transit initiative listed on brampton.ca), a sign that the corridor is a long-term transit priority for the city. For most households here, Brampton Transit functions as a secondary option rather than a primary commuting method: the bus network is functional but runs less frequently than inner-Brampton routes. Check Brampton Transit’s current route maps for the routes nearest a specific address.

How long are the drives from Estates of Credit Ridge?

Off-peak, Harpreet’s drive times are about 10 to 15 minutes to Mount Pleasant GO, 20 to 25 minutes to Pearson, 25 to 30 minutes to Square One and about 20 minutes to Vaughan Mills by the 407. Downtown Toronto by car takes 40 minutes to an hour or more. Rush hour adds time to all of them.

Destination Route Approximate time

Toronto Pearson Airport Car 20 to 25 minutes off-peak; 45 minutes or more at rush hour
Square One, Mississauga Car About 25 to 30 minutes, depending on route
Vaughan and Vaughan Mills Car via Highway 407 ETR (toll) About 20 minutes, more with traffic
Oakville Winston Churchill Boulevard, or Highway 407 ETR An easy drive on Winston Churchill; faster on the 407
Bramalea City Centre Car About 20 minutes

A practical note on peak traffic

Driving routes through Brampton’s core or along the 410 during peak commuting hours will take meaningfully longer than the off-peak estimates above. The Local Amenities and Shopping guides on this site flag this for specific trips (for example, the drive to Bramalea City Centre crosses through Brampton’s core, so timing matters during peak hours); the same caveat applies to any commute estimate: treat ranges as off-peak unless stated otherwise, and build in extra time for rush hour.
