How school assignment works for Jean Augustine Secondary School
The Peel District School Board assigns each student a home school based on their home address, using boundaries the board reviews from time to time. A school that serves Estates of Credit Ridge today may not serve the same address in a future school year, so check a specific property with the board's school locator, which searches by address rather than by neighbourhood name.
Families in this part of Brampton can choose between two publicly funded English systems: the public board (Peel DSB) and the Catholic board (Dufferin-Peel CDSB). That choice is separate from the address check above, and each board has its own registration process and requirements.
Verify before relying on school access
School boards determine eligibility by exact address, grade, program, and current enrolment rules. If a school is a deciding factor, confirm the address directly before making an offer.
